End of the journey

I wonder if my post titles are beginning to sound more and more epic.. That's besides the point, I've just hired my graduation gown!! Now I'm really beginning to feel the surging excitement on graduating! (Refer to previous post) So, right now, I'm at that part where I have to find something to do for the next month or so to occupy my ample free time till graduation.  I could pick up coding - I saw a couple of my university friends doing that after their dissertations were done.. Or I could continue writing fiction. Hahaha! Though I am picking up Japanese again (yay!) and exercising (double yay!! Flabs and tummy fat begone! Hello firm calves.) Other than that, I guess there isn't much going on right now... Now to catch up with all the movies and drama that I've been deprived on.

Where's your Enthusiasm?

I find it strange. What you may ask? Well, I just finished my last ever assignment and have thus completed my undergraduate studies. Well, ain't that swell? You might congratulate. Yeah, but - I find it strange. It's strange how I don't feel excited. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to graduate.  My family's flying across the globe to come see me strut across the stage and get my degree certificate, and we get to snap snazzy pictures of me in my graduation robe and I get to throw my graduation cap. Yes, it's definitely swell. But I can't seem to feel this ... you know how you expect yourself to feel this sudden rush of excitement - a surge of emotions after typing the final full stop on your essay/dissertation/thesis? Well, I expected no less, but as before, I don't get that. I wonder why? It's the same as when I first flew over to the ever cloudy country of fish and chips and curry. I expected myself to be as a wild animal in a city, star...

天皇の料理番 レビュー (Tennou no Ryouriban Review - mainly my thoughts, expect nothing professional)

As I prepared my dinner, (two waffles smothered in butter and sprinkled with some brown sugar, and a big juicy orange) I thought happily about finally being able to watch 佐藤健 (Satou Takeru) acting again. Then, as I made my way up the stairs to the attic that is my room, I quickly found the first episode and prepared to be blown away by awesomeness. But- let's just say, this drama is not what I initially thought it would be. I will now present to you, my review and thoughts about the first episode of 天皇の料理番 (Tennou no Ryouriban - The Emperor's Cook) Guess who's who! Right, first off, apologies for any spoilers. Second, this episode is over 94 minutes long - rivaling a Sherlock episode. I've not checked the length of the second ep, so this one could just be long because it's an introductory episode (more like a mini movie. heh). Adorable Vicious manslayer Look at this cutie 佐藤さん plays as Tokuzou, the bumbling village idiot. Yep, you read it rig...
